A COTA initiative aimed at enabling Over 50's access to regulated, supervised strength training in a typical fitness setting.
As an accredited Strength 4 Life partner our family fitness facility provides supervised strength training sessions 3 times a week. A qualified fitness instructor provides an assesment for all clients along with a personalised program giving people over 50 an accessabel & safe environment in which to participate in a progressive strength training program. By lifting an appropriote & increasingly heavy resistance, muscle strength can be regained & maintained regardless of age & physical condition.
